Indonesia

The most populous Muslim country in the world is actually made up of 17,508 islands.

This country is Indonesia.

While it looks small on a map, it is bigger than Spain, England, Germany, France, and Italy combined. Indonesia is the fourth-most populated country in the world, but its population is so equally distributed that none of its cities are among the 25 most populous in the world. As one of the most prominent coffee-producing countries in the world, Indonesia literally gives Java its name. In fact, it even produces some of the most expensive coffee in the world, called Kopi Luwak, which is harvested from cat droppings.

Indonesia’s main draw is its wildlife, as this is a great place to see elephants, monkeys, birds, and more in their natural habitat. The mega-popular beach destination of Bali is also located here, which has really helped to put Indonesia on westerners’ maps in recent years.
