Many visitors underestimate the size and importance of Germany. It is actually the third most populous country in Europe, behind only Russia and Turkey. Germany is also an economic powerhouse, selling more beers and cars than you can dream of. Germany is a lot more than just a big country, though. This country has been a focal point of European history for over a millennium, and its culture is one of the most vibrant in all of Europe.

From the world-class museums and night clubs in Berlin to the stunning Kölner Dom in Cologne, Germany is loaded with really enjoyable things to see and do. Munich is our favorite German city by far, as its Bavarian culture is warm and inviting, it hosts the most famous cultural celebration in the world every year (Oktoberfest), and is home to one of the best soccer teams in Europe.
